The Broken String

Authors:Ran Kramer and Harel Malka
Proofreader:Anne Jalijali
Genre:Slice of life
Released:1995
Review:

Meet Tim, an anarcho-punk living in a squat in a poor part of town, trying to put together the band that will bring back the punk scene as it was before MTV trivialized it. Angry, vulgar, and political. I want to like this game more than I do - we could do with more games that challenge bourgeois values - but unfortunately, it isn't very good. The prose is weak, the characters have one trait each, there are quite a few bugs, and progress too often depends on guessing the right conversation topic. Could be worth a look anyway for its point of view, provided you're not easily offended.
