Office Ahoy!

Author:Storme Winfield
Released:2003
Review:

Written as part of an April Fools' prank, this game achieves its ambition of being grievously bad. Based on the rather lame plot that you have decided to throw over a dull office job and join the navy, it features "puzzles" that mostly consist of wearing and removing clothing (you have to dress in your uniform in order to join the navy, obviously). There is also randomized combat with an annoying sailor. If that weren't enough, the parser and interpreter are intentionally horrendous; among their manifold sins, they fail to recognize even EXAMINE or INVENTORY. Magnificently horrible and mercifully brief.
